Artspod were very kindly invited to the Mansfield Palace Theatre’s Press Launch of this year’s Panto – Aladdin !
Wishing for the best family pantomime? Your wish is our command!
The amazing story of a boy, a lamp, and a genie returns to spread magic across the Mansfield Palace Theatre stage for Christmas 2024.
Mansfield’s favourite funny man – Adam Moss – is returning for more festive fun in a brand new pantomime packed full of enchanting story, side-splitting comedy, exotic settings, dazzling special effects, plenty of comedy slapstick and much-loved routines.
Taking the role as ‘baddie’ Abanazar is James Mackenzie, best known for his title role in the multi BAFTA award winning CBBC show, Raven. He has also appeared in BBC Scotland soap opera River City, has had guest appearances in Still Game and Outlander, and in the last few years has been introduced to a whole new generation, as James in the smash hit CBeebies series Molly and Mack.
Taking the role of Widow Twankey will be UK Productions’ favourite, Ben Harlow. Away from pantomime, you may have seen Ben as the UPS Guy in the UK and Ireland tour of Legally Blonde, Sam Carmichael in the smash-hit ABBA musical, Mamma Mia, or Gaston in the original international tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
Boo the baddies, cheer the goodies and join us on the most magical of magic carpet rides.
Don’t wait too long as tickets will be flying out! Get them early and ensure that every member of the family’s wish is granted for Christmas 2024!
