GOOD
by C.P. Taylor,
HAROLD PINTER THEATRE, LONDON
Starring David Tennant, Elliot Levey, Sharon Small
MUST END JAN 7TH
Professor John Halder is a ‘good’ man.
But ‘good’ men must adapt to survive.
As the world faces its Second World War, Halder finds himself pulled into a movement with unthinkable consequences.
David Tennant returns to the West End alongside Elliot Levey and Sharon Small in this powerful and timely reimagining of C.P. Taylor’s acclaimed play, directed by Olivier Award-winner Dominic Cooke.
‘It shows how people can blur reality, turn away from difficult moments and allow themselves to become inveigled into hideous situations.’ says director Dominic Cooke about Good.
Bringing his star quality to the challenging lead role of Professor John Halder in Good is renowned Scottish actor David Tennant. He plays a man with liberal ideals who becomes sucked into Nazism, with devastating consequences. Although David Tennant is best known for his TV roles in Dr Who, Broadchurch and most recently Deadwater Fell, undoubtedly Tennant will define this role as he did in 2009 with his Hamlet. It’s a triumphant return to the London stage.
